Balesin awarded in the South East Asia Property Awards
Winners of the inaugural South East Asia Property Award were recently announced at a Gala dinner held at Hotel Fort Canning in Singapore. The “Best Villa Development” award went to Alphaland Corporation for the Alphaland Balesin Island Club’s destination villas.
The South East Asia Property Awards, introduced by Ensign Media, seeks to recognize the most innovative and interesting property developments in the region. Over 300 entries from 1,500 nominations were received.
The award is a testimony to the quality of services Balesin has in store for its members. Located in Polillio, Quezon, a mere 25-minute private plane ride from Manila, the project is a fully sustainable, masterplanned, 500-hectare, exclusive island resort divided into six themed villages. Each village takes its inspiration from world-class destination resorts: Bali, Mykonos, Phuket, Costa Smeralda, St. Tropez, and Balesin, Philippines.
Authenticity is a key principle to the design of each village. Tropical landscapes and courtyards bring the spirit of Indonesia to the Bali Village. The destination villas of Mykonos are whitewashed cubic houses with flat roofs and colored wooden doors. Phuket village is located at the southernmost part of the island, with villas situated atop rugged cliffs overlooking crystalline blue-green waters.
Taking inspiration from the world-famous Costa Smeralda style made famous by the Aga Khan in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, the Costa Smeralda Village will offer luxury comforts without marring the beauty of nature. And the destination suites of the St. Tropez Village are reminiscent of the French Riviera, taking its inspiration from the world-renowned Byblos Hotel. Each village will have its own specialty restaurant serving their respective cuisines for theirs guests’ convenience.
Villas are fully-equipped with a wide range of amenities. There will also be direct-to-home TV via satellite in each of the villas. The outdoor deck of the model villa has an outdoor whirpool tub, a daybed, a sunlounge, and an outdoor dining area. With units at above-average sizes, Alphaland Corporation put a great deal of thought into making every inch work towards members’ comfort. The model villa is already as well-equipped as your own home, yet still offers a generous amount of space.
