COMMUNICATION SERVICES
Villas are equipped with telephones and televisions with satellite cable with HD capability. Intercoms allow you to easily order room service, spa treatments, and other activities, or communicate with staff in emergency situations.
Communication services are also available at the clubhouse and other central locations on the island. There is also 3G and GSM-enabled cellular service on Balesin.
The whole island is connected to the SMART network and will offer island-wide wi-fi coverage.
WATER AND ELECTRICAL POWER
Balesin has its own water purification system as well as village sewage treatment plants. All water and electrical infrastructure will be underground.
Villas have low-flow toilets, aerated showers, energy-saving lighting, air conditioning and appliances. Transformers and adapters are available in case you need to use any 110-volt appliances. No brown-outs will occur during your stay.
MEDICAL SITUATIONS AND EMERGENCIES
The island has its own emergency medical center with an on-island doctor. Island personnel are also trained in medical emergency evacuation procedures should the need arise. Defibrillators are at hand at various locations on the island in case of cardiac emergencies. Furthermore, emergency air transportation back to Luzon is readily available.
Balesin is free of tropical diseases; no vaccinations are needed for visits to the island.
